The three main rules of leg training
Balance, the right distribution of load, and breathing. For anyone who struggles on leg day.

If leg exercises feel too heavy, the cause is usually not strength but one of these three rules.
1. Balance
Keep your whole body tight and alert from the first rep to the last, from your fingertips to your abs. When the body goes loose, the load moves from your legs into your joints.
2. Load and rest
Spread the load and the order of your sets correctly, with the right rest and recovery between them. Spending everything on the first exercise is the most common mistake.
3. Fuel: breathing
Breathe correctly during the exercise so your body gets enough oxygen. It matters a lot, like putting petrol in a car.
Try a session with these rules together with a friend who struggles on leg day. Don’t stop, athlete.
